近日， Junli Zhou（周军莉），Cheng Ye, Yan Hu（胡艳）, Hassan Hemida, Guoqiang Zhang（张国强） and Wei Yang（杨薇）的论文 Development of a model for single-sided, wind-driven natural ventilation in buildings喜获英国皇家屋宇设备工程师学会(CIBSE, Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers)2018年优秀论文奖（Napier Shaw Bronze Medals）。该奖项是由CIBSE设置的年度奖项，用于表彰发表于Building Services Engineering Research and Technology Journal的建筑设备领域的高水平研究论文。本年度全球两篇论文获奖。
周军莉博士是张国强教授团队培养的自然通风方向的博士，胡艳、杨薇为团队培养的自然通风方向的硕士。
张国强团队自然通风方向共培养博士研究生4名，硕士研究生20余名，4名博士研究生的5篇论文获得国内外学术奖励：
1. 韩杰，2005，Field study on occupants’ thermal comfort and residential thermal
environment in a hot-humid climate of China，获Indoor Air国际学术会议学生论文奖
2. 韩杰，2008， Field study on occupants’ thermal comfort and residential thermal environment in a hot-humid climate of China，获2009年Building and Environment 最高引用论文奖（most cited paper）.
3. 殷维，2012，Potential model for single-sided naturally ventilated buildings in China获湖南省第14届自然科学优秀学术论文一等奖。
4. 解明镜，2013，《“定量化符号”在绿色建筑设计中的应用研究》获中国建筑学会优秀论文奖。
5. 周军莉，2018，Development of a model for single-sided, wind-driven natural ventilation in buildings，获CIBSE 优秀论文奖（Napier Shaw Bronze Medals）
同时，团队作为中国国家代表参加国际能源署IEA EBC ANNEX5, 62,80，并主编我国第一部自然通风设计标准，代表中国参编国际自然通风标准。
